"Doula" is a Greek word meaning women's helper. Specifically, childbirth consultants provide emotional, physical, and informational support during the labor, the delivery process, and immediately after birth.  The benefits are immeasurable, from fewer birth complications to shortened first-time labor.  The Doula Program also provides all kinds of support-from massage therapy to breastfeeding preparation.
